<p><i>This is a very good plain Georgian silver spoon, with a good set of silver hallmarks stamped on the back of the handle.  It would go with almost any other flatware pattern because it is so plain. </i>   </p>

<p>This fine George III Old English pattern silver long serving spoon was made in 1809 by Peter and William Bateman of London -- a very famous family of silversmiths.   </p>
